patch 8.2.3735: cannot use a lambda for 'imactivatefunc'
Problem: Cannot use a lambda for 'imactivatefunc'.
Solution: Add lambda support for 'imactivatefunc' and 'imstatusfunc'.
(Yegappan Lakshmanan, closes #9275)
