patch 8.0.1455: if $SHELL contains a space then 'shell' is incorrect
Problem: If $SHELL contains a space then the default value of 'shell' is
incorrect. (Matthew Horan)
Solution: Escape spaces in $SHELL. (Christian Brabandt, closes #459)
